This tour runs only during humpback whale season, from June through September. It is an unforgettable experience: watching whales in their natural habitat, face to face. The trip lasts roughly 4 hours through the Ilhabela channel, where nature puts on a genuine show. We cross the Ilhabela channel with panoramic views of the beaches, then head out to the outer point (Buraco do Cação), where the whales tend to appear. Swimming with the whales is not permitted, only watching and photographing. Keep in mind that these are wild animals, so despite the high numbers and strong chances of a sighting, we cannot guarantee they will appear.
