The Lagoinha Ruins sit in the southern part of Ubatuba and consist of what remains of the old sugar mill at Fazenda do Bom Retiro, along with the pillars of what is said to have been Brazil's first glass factory. From the ruins, a trail leads to Véu da Noiva waterfall. The waterfall is striking: a massive 60-metre granite rock face where the water slides gently down the stone, drawing adventure sports enthusiasts.
